Wedding Photographer
in Provence
Documentary reportage, natural light, no forced poses. Destination weddings across Provence and the South of France.
Documentary, discreet, emotionally led
Most couples don’t want to spend their wedding day being directed. They want to laugh with their grandmother, cry a little during the vows, and dance until the lights come on – and find all of it in their gallery the following week.
That’s the approach here. No stiff lineups, no manufactured moments. I work in natural light and stay close to what’s actually happening, not what should happen on paper.
The result is a set of images that feel like memory rather than performance. The glance across the table. The hand held just before the ceremony. The moment nobody else noticed.

Where I photograph in the South of France
Based in Aix-en-Provence, I cover the full stretch of Provence and the wider South of France. Travel fees apply beyond a 100 km radius; international travel is available on request.
Luberon
Gordes, Bonnieux, Ménerbes, Lourmarin, Lacoste. The limestone light here is genuinely unique.
Alpilles
Les Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Fontvieille. Silver-green olive groves, golden stone.
Aix-en-Provence
City centre, Château La Coste, surrounding countryside. My home base and one of my favourite backdrops.
Var
Château de Robernier, Saint-Tropez, Hyères, Toulon. Domaines viticoles and coastal pine forests.
Marseille & Cassis
The calanques and coastal estates – a dramatic, sun-bleached backdrop right on the Mediterranean.
French Riviera
Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Menton. Available beyond Provence, including all of France and international destinations on request.
My approach in Provence
Provence does a great deal of the visual work on its own. Here’s how I work with it.
Provençal light
Hard at noon, golden by six o’clock. Knowing when to be where is half the job.
Documentary reportage
I stay close to what’s actually happening, not what should happen on paper. No forced poses.
10+ years on the ground
The Luberon, the Alpilles, Aix, the Var – I know the light and the locations intimately.

Frequently asked questions
Do you travel across Provence and the South of France?
Yes. Based in Aix-en-Provence, I cover the full region – Luberon, Alpilles, Var, Marseille, the French Riviera, and the Camargue. Travel beyond 100 km is billed at cost. For international destinations, get in touch directly.
How far in advance should we book?
12 to 18 months ahead is the norm for peak Provence dates (May through October). Saturdays in June, July, and September fill earliest. If your date is closer, it’s always worth reaching out – last-minute availability does occasionally open up.
Do you speak English?
Yes, fluently. I work regularly with English-speaking couples from the UK, the US, Australia, and beyond. All correspondence, contracts, and calls can be conducted entirely in English.
What is included in your wedding photography packages?
Every package includes a pre-wedding consultation, full coverage for the agreed hours, professional editing, and delivery via a private online gallery. Higher-tier packages include a second shooter option and a fine-art print selection. Travel within 100 km of Aix-en-Provence is included.
How long before we receive our photos?
Within 6 weeks of your wedding date. You’ll receive a private gallery link with your full edited set of high-resolution images. A preview selection of 20–30 images is sent within the first two weeks.
